Frequently asked questions
Do you offer anything other than private dinners?
Yes! We create elegant afternoon teas, bachelorette brunches, wedding breakfasts, retirement celebrations, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, cocktail hour tapas, cooking classes, the sky’s the limit. It’s truly dining designed around you.
How do I book?
You can either fill out the form on the contact page or email us directly and we’ll get back with you soon to talk about your custom experience. Then we’ll reserve your date and collect the 50% deposit. Placing a deposit on our events is like purchasing a concert or theater ticket, only more delicious.
Can I change my date?
Absolutely! If you give us 14 days notice prior to your event we can apply your deposit to a new available date.
Do you offer wine/liquor pairings?
We will happily pour a cocktail or serve your wine and beverages to your guests as part of our service but if you’re interested in a more in-depth pairing situation we can arrange a sommelier for an additional cost.
Can you accommodate more than twelve guests?
Our plated tasting menus have a twelve guest maximum but some of our other style events can accommodate up to 18.
How long do your events last?
Typically 2-3 hours but that can be tailored to your needs and preferences.
Can I use my own plates?
Certainly. Let us know if you have any tableware you would like us to incorporate and we’ll happily use your treasured pieces. We’ll have you send us a quick photo so we can integrate them into the design.
How many courses are your menus?
That depends on your desires! From a more formal seven course plated dinner to the energetic vibe of twelve tapas style courses to a more casual shareable family style feast we have endless options to match your event.
Do you have any preset menus to pick from?
Nothing we do is preset or standard, instead we build the menu around your likes, dislikes and the tone of your event. You can collaborate with us on your unique menu or have it be a delicious surprise if you’d prefer. See examples of our work here.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
Absolutely. With our completely custom designed-around-you menus we are able to accommodate most dietary needs and preferences i.e. gluten intolerance, vegan/plant based, allergies, etc. We’ll ask about your preferences, allergies and restrictions at your initial consultation.
What’s included?
We provide all the ingredients, cookware, plates, and serving ware as well as the custom menu development and event design. We handle everything from cooking to serving to cleanup so you can relax and savor the moment.
What do you need from me?
Once you let us know your vision for your event, you pay the deposit and we get to work designing your experience. Then you’ll pay the remaining balance 7 days prior to your reserved date. On the day of the event, you provide a clean kitchen with a working stove and oven and the glassware, flatware, linens and beverages for your guests. We’ll need to arrive at least 2-3 hours in advance. We leave your kitchen as spotless as when we arrived, all you need to clean is your own glassware, flatware and linens.
